01 Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to MarketinQ (the "Service"), operated by FINDEQ LLC ("we," "us," "our"). It covers our public website, the MarketinQ application, and any associated APIs and integrations.
"You" refers to the person interacting with the Service — a business owner, agency operator, team member, or visitor.
02 What we collect
Account information
When you create or are invited to a workspace, we collect identifying information such as name, email, role, organization, and authentication credentials.
Briefing content
Video and audio recordings, transcripts, and notes you provide as part of the briefing intake. This content remains within your workspace.
Operational data
Content you generate or import through the Service — CRM contacts, segments, campaigns, workflows, scheduled posts, review templates, approval decisions, and reporting outputs. For contact and customer data you upload or capture, you act as the data controller and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service.
Leads & prospecting data
When you use prospecting features, we retrieve publicly available business-listing information on your behalf (for example, from sources such as Google Places) to build lead lists within your workspace.
Billing & payments
When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your billing details; we keep limited records such as plan, invoices, and transaction status, but never full card numbers. If you use MarketinQ to collect payments from your own customers, those transactions are processed by the payment account you connect — see Sharing.
Usage telemetry
Logs of feature usage, error reports, and aggregate performance metrics used to improve reliability. Telemetry is scoped to functional needs.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, plus limited analytics cookies to improve reliability. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or our in-app consent controls.
03 How we use it
- Operate the Service — generating, approving, scheduling, and reporting on the assets you build.
- Authenticate users and protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain audit trails of agent and approver actions for compliance and review.
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, and material product changes.
- Improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
04 AI processing
Generating drafts, extracting BrandProfile attributes, and producing optimization suggestions involves AI processing of your workspace content.
- AI operates within the scope of the workspace it's invoked from. It does not read or persist data across tenants.
- We do not use your workspace content to train foundation models. Where third-party model providers are used under contract, they are bound to not train on your content.
- Every agent action is logged with its inputs and reasoning so approvers can review what informed a decision.
06 Retention
We keep your workspace content for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, content is retained for a 30-day grace period during which you may restore the workspace, then permanently deleted (subject to legal hold requirements).
Audit trail records may be retained longer where required for compliance purposes, with personally identifying fields minimized.
07 Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal data. You can exercise most of these directly in-app, or contact us at privacy@marketinq.io.
Contact-level deletion
You can delete individual contacts and cascade removal across message history and segments at any time from within the workspace.
08 Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and tenant isolation throughout the Service. See our Security page for architectural detail.
09 International transfers
The Service runs in tier-1 cloud regions. If your data is transferred across regions, we use safeguards consistent with applicable law (Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant). Regional residency options for white-label tenants are on the roadmap.
10 Contact us
Privacy questions: privacy@marketinq.io. General: contact form.
This policy may be updated as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to account holders before they take effect.
